LONDON-- Frank Black , a founding member of influential alt-rock act the Pixies, will return to the U.K. in February for a ten-date tour. The club outing will kick off at King Tut’s in Glasgow on Feb. 10 and conclude at the Astoria in London on Feb. 21.
The tour will support the release of Frank Black and the Catholics' forthcoming album "Dog in the Sand," which is due from Cooking Vinyl in the U.K. on Jan. 29, and will be preceded by the single "Robert Onion" on Jan. 8.
At a one-off show at London's Underworld on Nov. 16, Black said that former Pixies guitarist Joey Santiago is likely to play with the group when it returns to Britain.
Black is currently playing an acoustic tour in California which runs through Dec. 16. He formed Frank Black and the Catholics in 1997, four years after the Pixies broke up.
