British auction house Bonhams & Brooks will auction one of Jimi Hendrix 's guitars, a Vintage Epiphone, on Thursday (6/21), Reuters reported.
CNN.com reported on two Beatles-related auctions:
Paul McCartney and producer George Martin have autographed 500 copies of the original score for the song "Yesterday," and will be auctioning them on the Internet to raise money for the British colony Montserrat, in which a volcano erupted in 1997. (Montserrat is in the Carribean, southeast of Puerto Rico, and no, we'd never heard of it before either.)
Also, the man who had lived in John Lennon's childhood home for 30 years died last month, and the owner's son will auction the house on the Internet. He has not set a date.
WindowsMedia.com and PaulMcCartney.com will be posting "unreleased songs, film clips and interviews" from McCartney's days with Wings< CNet.com reported.
