Tricky has set out on a world tour that is scheduled to touch down in North America later this month. The electronica guru is touring in support of his recently released album, "Blowback."
After finishing his current run on the European festival circuit, Tricky is due to play a handful of July and August shows in the U.S. and Canada, most of which are set in clubs that hold about 1,000 patrons.
In addition to the confirmed dates shown in the itinerary below, a July 25 show in New York and an Aug. 3 show in Portland, Ore., are also expected, though no venue has been specified for either, Billboard.com recently reported.
Tricky is also scheduled to appear on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" on July 19, according to Hollywood Records.
"Blowback" was released on June 26, and features guest appearances from Cyndi Lauper, Alanis Morissette, and Red Hot Chili Peppers members Flea, Anthony Kiedis and John Frusciante, among others.
"Evolution Revolution Love," the first single from "Blowback," is at No. 36 in its third week on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart. The song features vocals from Live frontman Ed Kowalczyk and reggae vocalist Hawkman.
