Alien Ant Farm to headline SnoCore Rock
update: Grammy-nominated pop-metallists Alien Ant Farm will headline the 7th annual SnoCore Rock tour, which kicks off in Providence, R.I. on Feb. 15.
The six-week tour will also feature FenixTX, GlassJaw, and another as-yet unannounced band. The tour will make it's way through mid-sized venues across the U.S. before finally wrapping up on March 30 on the West Coast.
The SnoCore Rock tour is one of two simultaneous SnoCore tour's that will launch next month. The SnoCore Icicle Ball tour--an eclectic outing featuring headliner Karl Denson's Tiny Universe--also kicks off on Feb. 15.
Before Alien Ant Farm takes to the road, the band will be performing at a number of major concert events overseas. Not only will they take part in this year's Big Day Out Festival in Australia and New Zealand, but the band will also make an appearance at MTV Europe's annual Winter Jam in Solden, Austria, prior to undertaking their first European headlining tour.
The band is up for a Grammy in the Best Hard Rock Performance category.
