Rock duo Heart , on hiatus since 1993, has decided to tour again. The revamped band, headed up by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson, kicks off its tour June 21 in Fargo, ND.
Drummer Ben Smith, guitarist Scott Olson, bassist Mike Inez (formerly of grunge outfit) Alice in Chains and keyboardist Tom Kellock will be joining the Wilsons.
Last fall, Heart announced that it was working on a new album with the new lineup, but no further details have been released.
During Heart's hiatus, the Wilson sisters released three albums as Lovemongers, and Nancy scored several of her husband's (director Cameron Crowe) films. Ann toured last year with the Beatles tribute show "A Walk Down Abbey Road."
