AC/DC to play free show for contest winners

Rock icons AC/DC, who will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in March, play their only U.S. concert of 2003 on March 11 at New York City's Roseland Ballroom, according to Epic Records.

Tickets to the concert won't be sold; the 3,200-capacity venue will be filled with winners of various radio, retail and online contests. Fans can enter to win tickets at the band's Epic Records website.

AC/DC, which has been recording for the Warner Music Group for more than a quarter of a century, recently signed a multi-album deal with Sony's Epic label. Epic has also acquired the rights to AC/DC's entire catalog of recordings, and has begun to re-release the albums.

All reissues will feature "restored album art, as well as enhanced packaging including additional rare and historic photos, new liner notes and comprehensive track information," according to a press release.

Each of the 16 CD's in the Epic-reissued AC/DC catalog will enable fans to access bonus content specific to each release at http://www.acdcrocks.com.

Epic's release schedule for the re-release of AC/DC's catalog follows:
