The itinerary for Third Eye Blind 's intimate club tour in support of its May release, "Out of the Vein," continues to grow.
The band has filled in many of the blanks on its November schedule, and extended the road trip, which kicked off earlier this month, into early December.
The itinerary includes an acoustic Halloween performance in Washington, DC, part of a radio-station event that will also feature a live set from Guster. Details are posted at the event's website.
Singer-songwriter Josh Kelley holds down the tour's opening slot.
"Out of the Vein," features the singles "Blinded (When I See You)" and "Crystal Baller," both of which are streaming at Elektra's 3EB website.
In addition to supporting his group's new album, Third Eye Blind frontman Stephan Jenkins is staying busy with some side projects. He is producing Vanessa Carlton's sophomore album, and is also contributing vocals to a new Gap "charity driven marketing campaign" that debuts in mid-November, for which he will record with an "all-star ensemble" a version of the song "Put A Little Love In Your Heart," according to a press release; the song will be available on CD, though no further details have been released.
Meanwhile, bassist Arion Salazar co-produced and performed on Kimya Dawson's (The Moldy Peaches) upcoming solo release.
Third Eye Blind broke into the spotlight with its self-titled 1997 debut, which spawned the hits "Semi Charmed Life, "Graduate," "How's It Going to Be," "Losing a Whole Year" and "Jumper." The set has sold more than six million copies to date, according to Elektra.
Kelley released his debut set, "For the Ride Home," in June. More information about the set is available at Hollywood Records' Josh Kelly website.
