Linkin Park , which last week announced plans for a North American headlining tour that will also feature P.O.D., has nailed down dates and cities for the initial round of shows.
The outing is due to kick off on Jan. 16 in Washington, DC, and dates for stops in 11 additional cities are set through Jan. 31. Venues are still pending, as are dates and venues for stops in at least 15 other cities. Details appear in the itinerary below.
Hoobastank and Story of the Year open on all dates.
Linkin Park's official fan club will offer its members an early shot at tickets via online pre-sales, and will also give members a chance to meet the band during pre-show meet-and-greets during the tour, according to Linkin Park's website. More information is available at the fan club's website.
Linkin Park's 2004 tour backs its latest studio album, "Meteora," which surfaced in March, as well as the group's just-released live CD/DVD titled "Live in Texas."
P.O.D. released its latest set, "Payable on Death," in early November. Hoobastank's sophomore effort, "The Reason," is due out on Dec. 9. Story of the Year released its inaugural album, "Page Avenue," on Sept. 16.
