Country favorites Alan Jackson and Martina McBride have unveiled the itinerary for a co-headlining tour that gets underway in late January and runs for nearly four months.
The outing focuses on the U.S. arena circuit, but it will move on to amphitheaters when the weather starts heating up this spring.
The Country Music Association recently awarded Jackson its Male Vocalist of the Year award, and McBride took home the Female Vocalist of the Year trophy at the same ceremony. Jackson also won his second consecutive Entertainer of the Year Award.
"Greatest Hits Volume II and Some Other Stuff," the latest release from Jackson, sold more than 328,000 copies in the U.S. during its first week in stores this August, and debuted at No. 1 on the pop and country album charts.
Jackson, a Georgia native, has become one of country music's most bankable acts over the years, and has sold more than 36 million albums since his 1989 debut, "Here in the Real World," according to his label.
Released on Sept. 30, "Martina" is McBride's first new studio set since 1999's "Emotion," and follows 2001's "Greatest Hits." She co-produced "Martina" with long-time producer Paul Worley, and recorded the set at her new Nashville studio, dubbed Blackbird.
Over the course of her 12-year recording career, McBride has sold almost 8 million albums and produced six No. 1 singles.
Jackson is currently taking a break from the road, but McBride is in the midst of a Christmas tour.
