Briefly: Puddle of Mudd, Melissa Auf Der Maur, Afroman, Norah Jones, Sixpence

Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin was arrested after he allegedly threw a bottle, spat at fans, and used profanity during his band's Sunday (2/22) performance in Toledo, OH, the Toledo Blade reported.

Undercover state liquor agents arrested Scantlin about 15 minutes into the show. He reportedly was booked on charges of disorderly conduct, intoxication, misconduct involving a public transportation system (for allegedly spitting in the backseat of a police car), and criminal mischief, all misdemeanors. He was released after posting $150 bond.

Melissa Auf Der Maur, former bassist of Hole and Smashing Pumpkins, will release her solo debut album on May 18, according to Capitol Records.

The album, titled "Auf Der Maur," was produced by the singer/guitarist and Chris Goss (Queens of the Stone Age, Masters of Reality). More information is posted at Auf Der Maur's website.

Hip-hop act Afroman , who scored a hit in 2001 with the track "Because I Got High," is set to release a two-disc album, titled "Afroholic: The Even Better Times," on April 20.

Norah Jones ' sophomore release, "Feels Like Home," tops The Billboard 200 album chart for a second straight week with about 395,000 copies sold, according to industry sources. Kanye West's "The College Dropout" stays put at No. 2 for a second straight week.

Evanescence's "Fallen" jumps four slots to No. 3, OutKast's "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below" again claims the No. 4 position and Kenny Chesney's "When the Sun Goes Down" falls two places to No. 5.

Sixpence None the Richer, best known for its hit "Touch Me," announced in a letter published in CCM Magazine that it is disbanding.
