Celine Dion has unveiled a new batch of the approximately 200 dates that she is expected to play in Las Vegas during 2004, and organizers have announced ticket on-sale information for her June appearances.
The French-Canadian singer debuted her Las Vegas production, dubbed "A New Day ... featuring Celine Dion," in March of 2003, and played on about 150 nights during her inaugural year at The Colosseum, a venue at Caesar's Palace built specifically for the production.
The show, which plays Wednesdays through Sundays, ranked second on concert-industry magazine Pollstar's year-end list of the year's top-grossing live acts, taking in $80.5 million.
Tickets for all of Dion's June performances are scheduled to go on sale on Monday (3/1) at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, according to a press release. Tickets for all earlier shows on the itinerary below have already hit the market.
Show creator Franco Dragone described the production in a statement: "Our goal with this project is to create a unique spectacle of song, theater, dance and state-of-the-art technology. I see Celine as a satellite who captures images. She will use the stage to create her own universe and share it intimately with the audience. ... We hope to heighten and intensify the senses so that each spectator leaves the show seeing more than they did the day before."
