Michael Buble tours to back new CD/DVD package

With a new CD/DVD set on its way to stores, young Vancouver crooner Michael Buble is set to spend much of the year on the road, including many U.S. dates.

The confirmed itinerary so far includes theater stints that are scattered throughout the year, sandwiched between various overseas trips.

Buble's new CD/DVD, "Come Fly With Me," is due in stores on March 30. The CD features eight tracks, and the DVD includes live performances of 12 songs, plus interview and backstage footage.

Buble--pronounced Boo-blay--debuted last year with a self-titled album that has since sold more than 2 million copies worldwide, according to Reprise Records. He followed it up with the Christmas album "Let it Snow."

Last year also saw the release of "Totally Buble," an album Buble never wanted to reach stores.

"They were songs I recorded for a film called 'Totally Blonde' many years ago before I was signed to 143/Reprise Records," he said in a statement posted on his official website. "The decision to release it as an album was made by the film's producer, and I had no control over stopping him.

"It is important for everyone to know, that I only want to release quality music to my fans by offering my best work and I sincerely apologize if you purchased this album."

The film's producer also authorized the release of a DVD titled "Totally Buble," about which Buble said, "The old expression 'Buyer Beware' has never been more appropriate."
