Nickelback, 3 Doors Down hammer out dates, add Puddle of Mudd to bill

Nickelback and 3 Doors Down have unveiled the itinerary for their summer co-headlining tour, and have tapped alt-rockers Puddle of Mudd to open the show.

The co-headliners launch the outing with a June 30 performance at Milwaukee's Summerfest, and dates run through the end of July. Puddle of Mudd joins the bill on the tour's second stop, set for July 3 in Botineau, ND.

Though Puddle of Mudd opens most dates, Three Days Grace takes over during three July shows, and a few stops will feature only co-headliners Nickelback and 3 Doors Down. Details are shown below.

Members of 3 Doors Down's fee-based fan-club have a shot at tickets before the general public. More information is posted at the band's website.

Nickelback is offering its fans a chance to purchase tickets via online pre-sales, registration for which is free, according to the band's website.

Both bands will perform "full sets produced with their trademark sound and performances that include laser lights, pyrotechnics and video special effects," according to a press release.

Nickelback is supporting last September's "The Long Road," which features the hits "Someday" and "Figured You Out." The album's third single, "Feelin' Way Too Damn Good," is due to hit radio in May.

3 Doors Down released its latest set, "Away from the Sun," in 2002. The album has spawned the hit title track, as well as "When I'm Gone" and "Here Without You."

Puddle of Mudd released its sophomore set, "Life on Display," last year. The group contributed a new cut titled "Bleed" to the recently released soundtrack to the film "The Punisher"; the song is streaming at the band's website.
