Alanis Morissette warms up for tour with free L.A. concert
Alanis Morissette --who opens her co-headlining tour with Barenaked Ladies in July--first will kick off this year's summer concert series at The Grove in Los Angeles with a free concert that begins at noon on Saturday (5/29).
Officials at The Grove, a shopping center located adjacent to L.A.'s Farmer's Market at Third and Fairfax, expect the outdoor main-stage area to fill up quickly, and encourage fans to arrive early.
According to a press release, Morissette's appearance is a sneak preview for The Grove's Summer Music Series, which will feature a free performance "by an equally renowned group of A-list musicians" every Wednesday evening from Aug. 4-25.
Following her appearance at The Grove, Morissette embarks on a European tour, which she'll follow with the month long co-headlining jaunt with fellow Canadians Barenaked Ladies.
