Evanescence has added a batch of shows to its upcoming summer jaunt, which also features Seether , Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin .
The tour still begins with four early July stops in Canada, and the new string of shows extends the run--which previously was booked through the end of July--into mid-August.
Seether is the sole opener for the initial Canadian stops, but the roster grows to include Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin on all subsequent dates.
Evanescence has been working the road almost non-stop since releasing its debut album, "Fallen," in March of last year. The triple-platinum set--which scored the group Grammy awards for Best New Artist and Best Hard Rock Performance--houses the band's breakthrough hit, "Bring Me to Life," as well as latest single "Everybody's Fool."
Evanescence's Amy Lee recently joined forces with tourmates Seether to record a new version of "Broken," a cut that first turned up on Seether's 2002 album "Disclaimer." The retooled song appears on "The Punisher" soundtrack, which hit stores in March, and will also turn up on Seether's June 15 album, "Disclaimer II."
Three Days Grace issued its self-titled debut last year, while Breaking Benjamin is due to issue a new set titled "We Are Not Alone" on June 29.
