Briefly: The Vines, Usher, Latin Grammys

Australian rockers The Vines , who were scheduled to launch a summer tour with Incubus later this month, have dropped off the bill.

"The decision has been made to take a break to deal with the mental and physical exhaustion issues the band currently faces," the group said in a statement.

"The Vines have not broken up. The band would like to sincerely apologize to Incubus, our fans and friends. We would like to thank everyone close to us for the continued support."

A replacement act for the Incubus tour hadn't been named at press time.
