
Eardrums get a rest during this summer's Acoustic Planet Tour, which features Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Keller Williams and Yonder Mountain String Band .
The month-long outing kicks off in Michigan on Aug. 5, and hits outdoor venues throughout the country. Tickets for a number dates are on sale now.
Bela Fleck and the Flecktones are touring behind their most-recent studio set, last year's triple-disc "Little Worlds"; Sony also issued a condensed, 10-cut version of the album, dubbed "Ten from Little Worlds." More recently, band namesake and banjoist Bela Fleck teamed with bassist Edgar Meyer for a live set titled "Music for Two," which surfaced in April.
On June 29, singer/songwriter Keller Williams issues "Stage," a live album featuring tracks culled from various shows on his 2003 tour behind his latest studio set, "Home."
Yonder Mountain String Band's most-recent album is last year's "Old Hands."
