Saliva pools more summer tour dates

With the release of their new album on the horizon, rockers Saliva are rolling out more tour dates for a run that supports the set.

The group, which has been on the road since late June, has added a slew of August, September and October dates to its trek. The shows are a mix of headlining stops, radio-station festivals and opening sets for KISS , Kid Rock and ZZ Top . Details are shown below.

Titled "Survival of the Sickest," Saliva's new album is due in stores on Aug. 17. The title track is streaming at the band's website, and a video for the cut is forthcoming, according to the site.

On Aug. 19, Saliva will perform the song on "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn."

"Survival of the Sickest" is the follow-up to Saliva's 2002 sophomore set, "Back Into Your System."
