Usher , who launches an ambitious tour of North American arenas tonight (8/5), has added several dates to the run and shuffled some others.
Stops have been added in Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Toronto and Albany, while previously planned stops in Birmingham, AL; and Greensboro, NC, have been crossed off the schedule.
A performance at New York City's Madison Square Garden in mid-October caps the current itinerary; tickets for that show--as well as those for a number of other cities--will hit the box office on Saturday (8/7). Details are shown below.
Kanye West --who is backing his solo debut, "The College Dropout"--holds down the opening slot.
Usher's road trip supports his chart-topping album, "Confessions," which logged nine weeks at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 album chart following its release in late March. The set has sold more than 5 million copies, according to Billboard.
