Tantric continues to back its sophomore album, this year's "After We Go," with a new round of U.S. club dates.
The run kicks off in Cleveland on Friday (8/27), and dates stretch into late September. Details are shown below.
Released in February, "After We Go" was recorded in Nashville with producer Toby Wright (Korn, Alice in Chains). The set includes a cover version of Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain," which is featured in promos for HBO's upcoming fall series "Family Bonds."
Tantric members Todd Whitener (guitar), Jesse Vest (bass) and Matt Taul (drums) originally comprised three-quarters of rock act Days of the New, which is fronted by singer Travis Meeks. Whitener, Vest and Taul split with Meeks in 1998, and went on to form Tantric with frontman Hugo Ferreira.
The band released its self-titled debut in 2001, which spawned the No. 1 rock-radio hit "Breakdown," as well as the hit singles "Astounded" and "Mourning."
