Hall and Oates plotting late-fall headlining shows

As their co-headlining trek with Michael McDonald continues, Hall & Oates have begun penciling in some late-2004 dates of their own.

The duo has mapped a handful of late-November and early December headlining stops, including a two-night stand in Atlantic City, and is also scheduled to play a one-off show on Oct. 17 in Pala, CA.

Meanwhile, the latest leg of the pair's trek with McDonald--dubbed the Rock N Soul Revue Tour--wraps up in early September, and a new round of concerts gets underway in early October. Details are shown below.

Shows on the Rock N Soul Revue Tour are expected to clock in at more than three hours, and feature a setlist that comprises "a collection of rock, soul and funk classics covering the past, the present and everything in between," according to a press release.

On Oct. 26, Hall & Oates and McDonald are scheduled to release new albums. The new Hall & Oates set, titled "Our Kind of Soul," features a mix of soul covers and originals, according to a press release.

"Motown Two," McDonald's forthcoming album, is the follow-up to last year's "Motown." Both sets house the singer/keyboardist's interpretations of Motown classics.

Hall & Oates' 21st album, "Do It for Love," surfaced last year. The set, which is the pair's first new studio effort since 1997's "Marigold Sky."

Average White Band --which recently issued its first new studio album in six years, "Living In Colour."--holds down the opening slot on the Rock N Soul Revue Tour.
