3 Doors Down offers up a new album in early February, and will waste no time before hitting the road to support the set.
The group has released the initial handful of dates for its upcoming tour, which kicks off on Feb. 12. Tickets for two stops are on sale now, while tickets for two others will hit the box office on Saturday (1/8). Details are shown in the itinerary below.
The band's website soon will post details on ticket pre-sales for the tour, according to a message at the site.
The world tour launches with a performance at Florida's Daytona International Speedway, as part of a racing event dubbed the 27th Annual Budweiser Shootout. There, 3 Doors Down will play its new single, "Let Me Go," before the race begins and will follow the race with a full concert. The pre-race performance will air on FOX-TV, according to the group's website.
"Let Me Go" is the first single from 3DD's new album, "Seventeen Days," which lands in stores on Feb. 8. The cut is streaming at the band's website.
The band will warm up for its tour with a Jan. 20 performance at the Recording Industry Association of America's Presidential Inauguration Party in Washington, DC.
"We're honored that the RIAA asked us to perform at their inauguration party," frontman Brad Arnold said in a statement. "It was great that so many people voted this year--especially young people and we're proud to be a part of this event."
"Seventeen Days" follows 2002's "Away from the Sun," which spawned the hit title track, as well as "When I'm Gone" and "Here Without You."
