Alt-metal quintet Shinedown , which spent a good chunk of 2004 opening for big-name acts such as Van Halen and Velvet Revolver, tops the bill of a just-launched winter outing.
The run, which kicked off Tuesday (1/18) in Houston, runs at least through February, with the majority of shows so far set in the eastern half of the U.S. Details are shown below.
Along for the ride are opening acts Theory of a Deadman --which releases its sophomore set, "Gasoline," on March 29-- and No Address, which is expected to offer up its debut album this year.
Shinedown, meanwhile, is backing its gold-certified debut, "Leave a Whisper," which surfaced in 2003. The set features the group's latest single, "Simple Man," the video for which is streaming at Shinedown's website.
In addition to its string of headlining dates, the Jacksonville, FL-based quartet's schedule includes a hometown performance on Feb. 4, when the group will open for 3 Doors Down.
