With the kickoff of their co-headlining tour a month away, Taking Back Sunday and Jimmy Eat World continue to roll out dates for the run.
Among the new stops on the itinerary are shows in New York state; Washington, DC; and Long Beach and San Diego, CA. Details are shown in the itinerary below.
The co-headliners have tapped newcomers The Format to hold down the opening slot from April 10-28. An opener for the subsequent shows has not yet been named.
Taking Back Sunday is supporting its sophomore album, last July's "Where You Want to Be." The set--which follows 2002's "Tell All Your Friends"--debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 album chart.
The group's website is streaming the music video for the "Where You Want to Be" cut "This Photograph is Proof (I Know You)."
Jimmy Eat World is backing its fourth album, "Futures," which surfaced in October. The group hit the road shortly after the album landed in stores, and is planning to spend two-and-a-half years on tour, according to a press release.
"Futures" is the follow-up to Jimmy Eat World's self-titled, 2001 breakthrough album. The new set features the cut "Pain," the music video for which is streaming at Jimmy Eat World's website.
On March 31, Jimmy Eat World is scheduled to perform on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
The Format issued its debut full-length, "Interventions and Lullabies," in October of 2003.
