Jimmy Buffett , who last month played a series of dates in the South, will wait for things to warm up before heading to the Northeast.
So far, Buffett's summer plans include two-night stands in Boston and Philadelphia, as well as a one-off date in Pittsburgh. Tickets for the Pennsylvania shows are on sale now, while those for the Boston date hit the box office on Saturday (3/19).
The summer road work extends an itinerary that begins with a series of April shows in the West; details are shown below.
Buffett continues to back his latest album, last year's "License To Chill," which features guest appearances by several country artists, including Kenny Chesney, George Strait and Toby Keith. Included on the set is a cover of Hank Williams' "Hey Good Lookin'," featuring Clint Black, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith and George Strait. The follow-up single, "Trip Around the Sun" (featuring Martina McBride), recently became the album's second to top the CMT Top 20 list.
"License to Chill" follows the success of the CMA- and ACM-award winning "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere," a duet by Buffett and Alan Jackson that appeared on Jackson's 2003 best-of album.
