
Mark Lanegan has departed the current Queens of the Stone Age tour, which will carry on as scheduled.
According to a message on the band's official website, he exited the tour due to exhaustion.
"The band would like to wish a speedy recovery, so that he can return back [to] the Queens circus ASAP," the message reads.
A new, as-yet-untitled album from The White Stripes is due in stores June 14. The first single is titled "Blue Orchid."
