Mark Lanegan has departed the current Queens of the Stone Age tour, which will carry on as scheduled.
According to a message on the band's official website, he exited the tour due to exhaustion.
"The band would like to wish a speedy recovery, so that he can return back [to] the Queens circus ASAP," the message reads.
A new, as-yet-untitled album from The White Stripes is due in stores June 14. The first single is titled "Blue Orchid."
Justin Jeffre, formerly of the boy band 98 Degrees , is running for mayor of Cincinnati, according to published reports.
There's a tie-in: he reportedly hopes to turn his campaign into a VH1 reality series.
New York singer-songwriter Goat will release his sophomore album, "All of My Friends," on June 28. A tour will follow, according to a press release.
Roots-rock act Donna the Buffalo is set to drop "Life's a Ride," its first studio album in five years, on April 26.
