It looks like Sean "P. Diddy" Comb will get his "Diddy Day" in Las Vegas, after all.

In April, the rapper/impresario--citing "an unfortunate miscommunication"--didn't appear as expected at an event at the Aladdin hotel/casino, during which Mayor Oscar Goodman was scheduled to proclaim it "Diddy Day."

Trying again, Goodman has now declared Saturday (5/14) "Diddy Day."

Combs reportedly is expected to announce plans to develop a new nightclub and other venues inside the Desert Passage mall at the Aladdin.

Billboard.com reports that Audioslave 's recent visit to Havana was filmed for a future DVD. Crews captured footage of the band's performance--believed to be the first outdoor rock show by an American band in Cuba--as well as the group's travels through the island nation.

Crooner and late-'50s teen idol Paul Anka will issue an album of rock covers titled "Rock Swings" on June 7.

Among the songs that get the Anka treatment are Van Halen's "Jump," Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," Spandau Ballet's "True," Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun," The Cure's "Lovecats" and Bon Jovi's "It's My Life."
