R&B singer Keith Sweat embarks on a U.S. tour this summer, a run that supports his soon-to-be-released album "Grown and Sexy."
Dubbed the "Summer Sweat Tour," the outing kicks off in Florida early next month, and is scheduled to wrap up in mid-September; a pair of one-off June dates are also planned.
The majority of the shows will feature Cariibbean pop outfit Elvis White in the opening slot. Details are included in the itinerary below.
"I want my fans to come out and experience something that they have never experienced at a Keith Sweat concert before," Sweat said of the opening act in a statement. "Elvis White is the hottest new band out of the Caribbean right now and I know they'll heat up my fans nicely. When I hit the stage with my new 'Grown and Sexy' show, they'll really be ready to sweat."
Sweat--whose hits include "I Want Her," "Something Just Ain't Right," "Make It Last Forever," "Make You Sweat" and "Merry Go Round"--plans to roll out songs from "Grown and Sexy" during the upcoming run. The album is due out on Sanctuary Records in July, though a specific release date has not been announced.
