Foo Fighters, Weezer to launch fall co-headlining trek
Fellow rockers Foo Fighters and Weezer have confirmed long-rumored plans to embark on a fall co-headlining tour.
According to a press release, the outing will kick off in early September, and will run through late October.
Though specific dates and venues haven't been unveiled, Foo Fighters' publicist said the confirmed tour stops include Atlanta; Sunrise, FL; Tampa; Houston; Austin, TX; Dallas; San Diego; Phoenix; Denver; Minneapolis; Chicago; Champaign, IL; Grand Rapids, MI; Detroit; Cleveland; Columbus, OH; Baltimore; Worcester, MA; New York; Philadelphia; Fresno, CA; Seattle and Portland, OR.
Additional cities, as well as support acts, will be announced.
Foo Fighters released their fifth album, the two-disc set "In Your Honor," in June. Disc One features hard-edged rockers, while Disc Two largely houses acoustic tracks.
Weezer is backing its new LP "Make Believe," which hit stores in May and debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 album chart.
