Courtney Love has been ordered to appear in court Aug. 19 to face allegations that she violated the terms of her probation.
Love's latest legal troubles are due to a July 22 incident at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles, at which Love allegedly had a "drug-related fainting spell," according to a Los Angeles Times report.
During a Wednesday (8/10) hearing, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Rand S. Rubin reportedly expressed unhappiness with the development, and asked Love's drug counselor for reports about her progress in court-ordered alcohol and drug rehabilitation programs.
Love was sentenced to three years probation in February after she pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge. That charge related to a 2004 incident in which she allegedly threw a liquor bottle at a woman she found sleeping on the sofa at the home of a former boyfriend.
At a second hearing on Wednesday, a prosecutor asked that a judge revoke Love's probation in connection with a 2003 disorderly conduct and drug charge.
