
Wal-Mart reports that more than 1 million copies of the new six-disc box set "Garth Brooks : The Limited Series”--6 million discs in all--have been sold at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club stores since the collection's Nov. 23 release.
The set, available exclusively at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club, consists mostly of previously issued material, but it also includes a disc of 11 previously unreleased recordings.

Hawaiian singer Don Ho , 75, reportedly is recovering at a hospital in Thailand, where he has undergone an experimental stem-cell treatment on his heart.
According to the Associated Press, stem cells were taken from Ho's blood, multiplied, and injected into his heart. Doctors hope that the experimental procedure, which is not yet approved in the United States, will strengthen Ho's weak heart.
The crooner reportedly had excellent vital signs following Tuesday's (12/6) procedure, but remains very ill. He had a pacemaker implanted earlier this year.
