Aimee Mann sets 2006 shows, reschedules Florida dates

Singer/songwriter Aimee Mann has rescheduled several Florida shows canceled in the wake of Hurricane Wilma, and has announced several additional concert dates.

Mann will tackle her Florida make-up shows at the end of her current tour schedule, which kicks off with a New Year's Eve appearance in Milwaukee with her husband, singer Michael Penn.

The rescheduled dates are Feb. 16 in Orlando, Feb. 17 in West Palm Beach and Feb. 18 in Tampa. Mann also has a number of late January/early February dates scheduled, mainly in the U.S. Midwest and South, with two Canadian shows also on the list.

Mann, who is supporting her 2005 release "The Forgotten Arm," is also scheduled to make an appearance on the Feb. 9 episode of "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" on NBC.

"The Forgotten Arm" is Mann's follow-up to 2002's "Lost in Space." She recorded the set in just five days last summer with producer/singer/songwriter Joe Henry.

Backing Mann in the studio were guitarists Jeff Trott (Sheryl Crow) and Julian Coryell, keyboardist Jebin Bruni, bassist Paul Bryan, and drummers Victor Indrizzo and Jay Bellarose.
