Heartless Bastards

Helmed by lead vocalist Erika Wennerstrom, the Heartless Bastards churn out powerful indie-rock, beginning with the group's debut album, 2005's "Stairs and Elevators," which received loads of press from Rolling Stone, Blender and the like. Over the past four years, the band has made some headway, delivering two more records--2006's "All This Time" and the recently released "The Mountain"--and sweeping the nation on club tours and the summer festival circuit.

Before the Ohio-based trio took on its most recent album, the group's lineup shifted, leaving Wennerstrom as the only original member. Bassist Jesse Ebaugh and drummer Dave Colvin joined the band's roster, just in time to crank out their February release, "The Mountain."

The Heartless Bastards are currently in the midst of a US outing that runs through the summer. A quick 7-date European jaunt is also scheduled for mid-May.
