British singer/songwriter Holly Golightly [ tickets ] and her backing "band," The Brokeoffs (consisting of multi-instrumentalist Lawyer Dave) offer up their American debut, "Dirt Don't Hurt," this October. The set follows last year's "You Can't Buy a Gun When You're Crying," which was only released overseas.

The duo self-produced and recorded the forthcoming set in five days in the Spanish town of Gijon, at an all-analog studio outfitted with vintage recording gear.
